Modern Sewer Repair Without the Destruction
Traditional sewer repair means digging a trench across your property — tearing through landscaping, driveways, sidewalks, and anything else in the pipe's path. Trenchless technology eliminates most of that disruption. We access the line through small pits at each end (typically 3x3 feet) and repair or replace the pipe from the inside. Your yard, driveway, and mature landscaping stay intact.
We use two trenchless methods depending on the type and extent of damage. CIPP pipe lining (cured-in-place pipe) inserts an epoxy-coated liner into the existing pipe that cures to form a smooth, jointless pipe-within-a-pipe. Pipe bursting pulls a new HDPE pipe through the old one, fracturing the old pipe outward as the new line takes its place. Both methods produce a new pipe rated for 50+ years.
Trenchless isn't the right solution for every situation — and we'll be honest about that. If the line has a severe belly, sharp bends, or has completely collapsed without a traceable path, traditional excavation is necessary. But for the majority of residential sewer problems in Northern Utah — root intrusion, cracked joints, offset connections, and deteriorating pipe material — trenchless methods work and save significant time, cost, and property damage.
Pipe Lining vs. Pipe Bursting: Which Do You Need?
CIPP pipe lining is best for pipes that are still structurally intact but damaged — cracks at joints, root intrusion points, minor offsets, and internal deterioration. The liner bonds to the inside of the existing pipe, sealing cracks and creating a smooth, root-proof interior. Pipe bursting is the trenchless option when the pipe is too damaged for lining — severe cracking, partial collapse, or pipe material that's too deteriorated to support a liner (like late-stage Orangeburg). It actually replaces the old pipe with a new one, so it's a full replacement without a trench. We determine which method is right during the camera inspection.
- CIPP pipe lining — epoxy liner cures inside existing pipe, seals cracks and root entry points
- Pipe bursting — pulls new HDPE pipe through old line, full replacement without trenching
- Minimal yard disruption — only small access pits required, no trench across your property
- Same-day completion for most residential pipe lining jobs

Know the Warning Signs
Signs You Need Trenchless Sewer Line Repair
Catch these early to avoid a bigger, more expensive problem down the line.
Camera Shows Root Intrusion at Multiple Joints
Root entry at pipe joints is the most common issue trenchless lining solves. The liner seals every joint, eliminating all entry points in a single repair.
Watch ThisCracked or Offset Pipe Joints
Minor cracks and offsets at pipe connections are ideal candidates for CIPP lining. The liner bridges the gaps and creates a smooth, continuous interior surface.
Watch ThisRecurring Clogs from Internal Pipe Deterioration
If the inside of the pipe is rough, scaling, or pitting, waste catches and builds up. A CIPP liner restores a smooth interior that flows like new pipe.
Watch ThisSewer Line Under Driveway, Patio, or Mature Landscaping
When the sewer line runs under structures or features you want to preserve, trenchless methods avoid the destruction that traditional excavation would cause.
Watch ThisPipe Material Is Orangeburg or Aging Cast Iron
These materials are at the end of their service life. Pipe bursting replaces them with HDPE without digging up the entire line.
Watch ThisSewage Backup with Expensive Hardscaping Above the Line
Concrete driveways, stamped patios, and retaining walls above the sewer path make traditional excavation extremely expensive. Trenchless avoids those costs.

How Our Service Works
Camera Inspection
We run an HD camera through the full sewer line to map the damage, identify pipe material, measure the line, and determine whether lining or bursting is the right approach.
Method Selection & Quote
Based on the camera findings, we recommend CIPP lining or pipe bursting and explain why. You get a written quote with the method, materials, timeline, and total cost.
Trenchless Repair or Replacement
We dig small access pits at each end of the repair area and complete the lining or bursting. For CIPP, the liner is inserted and inflated, then cured with heat or UV light. For pipe bursting, the new HDPE pipe is pulled through the old line.
Final Camera & Warranty
We camera the completed repair to verify the liner is seated properly or the new pipe is connected and flowing correctly. You receive a 10-year warranty and before-and-after footage.

The Towers Difference
Why Northern Utah Trusts Towers
Own Our Trenchless Equipment
We invested in our own CIPP lining and pipe bursting rigs — we don't subcontract trenchless work. That means lower cost for you and direct quality control.
Honest Method Recommendation
We don't push trenchless when it's not the right fit. If your line has a belly or has completely collapsed, we'll tell you excavation is the better option — even though trenchless pays more.
Same-Day Service
Most residential CIPP pipe lining is completed in a single day. You have your sewer back in service before dinner. Pipe bursting typically takes one day as well.
50-Year Materials
CIPP liners and HDPE bursting pipe are both rated for 50+ years. They're immune to root intrusion, corrosion, and the joint failures that damaged your original line.
Real Customers, Real Results
What Our Customers Say
“Our sewer line ran right under our stamped concrete patio and the driveway. The other company said they'd have to tear out both. Towers said they could do trenchless pipe lining — two small holes, one day of work, and our patio and driveway are completely untouched. Should have called them first.”
