Terms of Service
Last updated: March 26, 2026
Welcome to the Towers Plumbing website (towersplumbing.com). By accessing this website or engaging our plumbing services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Service Area
Towers Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services across Northern Utah, including Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, and Weber counties. Service availability and response times may vary by location and demand. We reserve the right to decline service requests outside our normal coverage area.
Estimates & Pricing
- All estimates provided are non-binding until a written service agreement is signed by both parties.
- We provide upfront pricing before beginning any work. The quoted price is the price you pay — no hidden fees or surprise charges.
- Final pricing may differ from initial estimates if the scope of work changes after commencement (e.g., unforeseen conditions discovered during repair). Any scope changes will be communicated and approved by the customer before additional work is performed.
- Emergency and after-hours rates may differ from standard service rates. Emergency pricing is disclosed before dispatch.
Service Agreements
For projects exceeding $500, a written service agreement will be provided detailing the scope of work, materials, timeline, and total cost. Work does not begin until the agreement is signed. For routine service calls under $500, verbal authorization (in person or by phone) after disclosure of the price constitutes agreement.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
- For larger projects (over $2,500), a deposit of up to 50% may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.
- Financing options are available for qualifying customers through our financing partners. Terms and approval are subject to the financing provider's conditions.
- Past-due balances may be subject to collection activity and associated costs.
Warranties & Guarantees
- Labor warranty: All workmanship is warranted for a minimum of 1 year from the date of completion, unless a longer warranty is specified in your service agreement.
- Parts warranty: Parts and materials carry the manufacturer's warranty. We assist with warranty claims on parts we install.
- Specific warranties: Certain services carry extended warranties (e.g., 10-year warranty on sewer repairs, lifetime warranty on PEX repiping). These are specified in the service agreement.
- Satisfaction guarantee: If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us within 30 days of service completion. We will return to inspect and correct the issue at no additional charge.
- Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, acts of nature, third-party modifications, or failure to maintain systems as recommended.
Scheduling & Cancellation
- Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We make every effort to accommodate your preferred time.
- We provide a service window (typically 2–4 hours) and will contact you when the technician is en route.
- Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice incur no charge.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows may be subject to a trip charge.
- Emergency service requests are dispatched immediately and are not subject to the standard cancellation policy.
Permits & Inspections
Certain plumbing work in Utah requires permits from the local building authority. When permits are required, we include the cost in our estimate, handle the application process, and schedule required inspections. The customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the property for inspections. Work that fails inspection due to factors within our control will be corrected at our expense.
Property Access & Conditions
- The customer is responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the work area.
- We take care to protect your property during service. We use drop cloths, boot covers, and clean up after ourselves.
- In some cases, accessing plumbing requires cutting into walls, floors, or ceilings. We will discuss this with you before making any cuts. Patching of access holes is included in our service; professional finishing (paint matching, texture) may require a separate tradesperson.
- Pre-existing conditions discovered during work (e.g., mold, asbestos, structural damage) are the property owner's responsibility. We will notify you immediately and cease work in the affected area until the condition is addressed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Utah law, Towers Plumbing's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, property damage from pre-existing conditions, or business interruption.
Dispute Resolution
We strive to resolve all disputes directly with our customers. If a disagreement arises regarding service quality or billing:
- Contact us at (801) 266-3529 or info@towersplumbing.com to discuss the issue.
- If the issue cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Salt Lake County, Utah.
- Any legal action shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah and brought in the courts of Salt Lake County.
Licensing & Insurance
Towers Plumbing is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the State of Utah. Our plumbing contractors license is current and in good standing. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all employees. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
